Well one thing you will need 2 get is a Music Making program. Such as Live Lite, FL Studio, Sonar, ETC.

This will be the main thing you will need in order to produce a beat. Next you will need a Keyboard and/or sound module. This will allow you 2 compose a beat with different sounds.
